Privacy policy

Files never leave your browser

CSV and TXT files you load into the tool are parsed by JavaScript running on your device. The file itself is never transmitted to our servers. Only the individual email addresses submitted for verification are sent, one at a time, over HTTPS.

What we process and why

• Addresses you verify.Sent to our verification engine to perform MX and SMTP-level checks. Results are cached for up to 24 hours so repeat checks are fast and don't re-contact mail servers.
• Usage counters. To enforce the free daily limits we keep counters keyed to a browser fingerprint hash, an anonymous cookie identifier, and your IP address. Counters expire automatically.
• Signup email. If you unlock the 100/day tier, we store a one-way hash of your normalized address to link your quota across devices.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or share verified addresses or signup emails.
• We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the tool.

Cookies

One first-party cookie (fev_id) holds an anonymous identifier used for rate limiting and quota enforcement. It is not used for cross-site tracking.
